Getting Your API Key
- Log in to Mailchimp
- Go to Account & Billing > Extras > API keys
- Click Create A Key and copy the generated key
The API key includes your data center suffix (e.g., xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx-us21). The connection automatically extracts the data center from the key — no additional configuration needed.
Usage
Once created, this connection becomes available in:
- Mailchimp — manage audiences, subscribers, and campaigns
TIP
Each Mailchimp account has a unique data center (the -usXX suffix on your API key). The connection automatically routes requests to the correct server.
