Members & Invitations

Owners and Admins can invite new members to the team and manage existing members.

Viewing Members

Navigate to Settings → Members to see:

  • All current team members with their roles
  • Pending invitations that haven't been accepted yet
  • (Owner only) a Danger Zone for deleting the team

Team members page

Inviting Members

  1. Go to Settings → Members
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter the person's email address
  4. Select a role: Admin, Editor, or Viewer (Owner is not selectable here — see Transferring ownership)
  5. Click Send Invitation

The invited person will receive an email with a link to join the team. Invitations expire after 7 days.

Invitation Flow

  1. New users — the invitation link takes them to a registration page. After registering, they automatically join the team.
  2. Existing users — the invitation link adds them to the team immediately after they accept.

Resending or Cancelling a Pending Invitation

Each pending invitation in the Pending Invitations table has two actions:

  • Resend — re-issues the email and extends the expiry by another 7 days.
  • Cancel — revokes the invitation. The link in any prior email will stop working.

Managing Roles

Owners and Admins can change member roles:

  1. Go to Settings → Members
  2. Find the member whose role you want to change
  3. Select the new role from the dropdown (Admin, Editor, or Viewer)

Role Change Rules

  • The Owner row is immutable — the role dropdown and remove action are hidden. To change who owns the team, use Transfer ownership.
  • Members cannot edit their own row (no self-demote, no self-remove). Use the Leave team action instead.
  • The role Owner cannot be set via the dropdown — promoting to Owner only happens through the Transfer Ownership flow.

Removing Members

  1. Go to Settings → Members
  2. Find the member you want to remove
  3. Click Remove and confirm

WARNING

Removing a member immediately revokes their access. They will no longer be able to view or interact with the team's workflows, connections, or data.

The Owner cannot be removed. To leave the team as Owner, you must first transfer ownership.

Transferring Ownership

Every team has exactly one Owner. Only the current Owner can transfer the role.

  1. Go to Settings → Members
  2. On the member row you want to promote, click Make owner
  3. Confirm in the dialog

After confirmation:

  • The chosen member becomes the new Owner and gains the team:transfer and team:delete permissions.
  • The previous Owner is demoted to Admin automatically — your existing access to workflows, executions, and connections is unchanged.
  • The change applies on the next page action; the page refreshes itself so the new permissions take effect immediately.

INFO

Ownership transfer is only available to the current Owner. Admins do not see the "Make owner" action.

Deleting the Team

DANGER

Team deletion is permanent and immediate. It removes:

  • All workflows and their versions
  • All execution history and stored output data
  • All connections and credentials
  • The tenant database and everything stored in it
  • All members from the team

There is no recovery.

Only the Owner can delete the team.

  1. Go to Settings → Members
  2. Scroll to Danger Zone
  3. Click Delete team and confirm

After deletion you'll be redirected to your remaining teams (if any) or back to the login screen.
